One of the questions we are often asked is " Why did you choose the ingredients you use". Well as you may know by now this took a long time and a lot of research and experimentation so here is a run down for you.
1. Castor oil
Castor oil increases hair growth, it also calms hair loss. It is a humidicant which means it attracts moisture to avoid dryness of both hair and skin. It is wonderful for skin and is slowly absorbed due to it viscosity.....which is a good thing.
2.Sweet almond oil
Sweet Almond oil has a light scent and is packed with the omegas. It is full of fats which are great at reducing dry hair along with Castor . This in turn reduces the brittleness that can cause split ends etc.
3. Avocado oil.
Avocado is a thick luxuriant oil that has a pleasant scent and a dark green colour. It makes are oils slightly darker in colour than some other Beard oils. However, we were not going to compromise here. Everyone knows its good to include in your diet because of all the good stuff contained in there. Packed with Vitamin A,B,C and D. The oil will combat brittle hair and will love providing all these nutrients to the skin underneath creating a fantastic foundation for your beard.
4. Argan oil.
Argan oil along with Jojoba oil are known as precious oils. Argan is refered to as "Liquid Gold". It protects from heat, the sun and it repairs damaged hairs effectively. It will reduce that frizzy/curly hair that causes irritation to the skin and because it makes your beard less....well attractive. It makes your hair soft and more manageable and creates a nice shiny finish. Not only will it repair but it will aid further hair growth if your after that " Beard Strong" look. Argan is a nut so allergy suffers should bare this in mind.
5. Jojoba Oil.
Closest oil to the sebum produced by our body, the oil whose job is to protect our hair from the elements and free radicals that can be responsible for some chronic ailments. It hydrates beautifully and conditions exceptionally , but best of all it counteracts the causes of "Bearddruff" which sadly is the reason a lot of beards have a limited life span....who wants dandruff anywhere especially your beard. This had to be included and any beard oil out there without it is missing a vital ingredient.
6. Coconut oil
Coconut oil is used in all Manmanes Balms and Moustache waxes. It was a secret for many years but now is everyones business. Lately it has become a "super cosmetic" ingredient. Coconut oil doesn't care if your hair is dry or oily because its reason for inclusion is its ability to regain a natural balance in your hair condition, its a natural diplomat not to dry,not to oily....just right ( why am I thinking of Goldilocks). It works from the inside outwards with a long term effect especially with continued use.
7. Vitamin E
Wonderfully nourishing and a natural preservative to keep the other ingredients in check over a period of time......its a Vitamin , say no more.
